Marabil litters are carefully planned and do not occur very often, averaging less than one a year.  All dogs must first complete extensive health and genetics testing, along with temperament and conformation evaluations to ensure they are of a quality to be included in a breeding program that is dedicated to preserving the best attributes of this great breed.   Because of this, dogs are not breed until they are fully mature and at least two and a half years of age, regardless of sex.  All clearances will be disclosed on the dog’s individual page for Marabil bred/owned dogs, or Litters page for outside dogs.

Marabil Australian Shepherds will not sell any puppies for breeding purposes only. All puppies sold on Show/Performance Prospect contracts will be held on a co-ownership until all contract terms have been satisfied, including all applicable health and genetic clearances.  Companion/pet puppies are sold with strict spay/neuter contract.   Puppies are bred in accordance to the ASCA and AKC standards, including tail length. No exceptions.
